I know I am from NJ ..
But people in NJ are going a little overboard with the law suits.
First, there was that sad gentleman who sued a night club for
"discrimination against men" for offering free admission for
LADIES ONLY. What that dweeb doesn't get is that helps enable
men to get laid. But clearly he wasn't. So he sued.
Now this other guy is suing BlockBuster for not being "clear"
on the new "NO MORE LATE FEES" incentive program they started.
Anyone who knows me is well aware that I am the Clarification
Queen and I want everything to be clear as possible and I avoid
misunderstandings like the Ebola, but come on -this is ridiculous.
People sue McDonalds for getting chubby, now they are suing for
being charged a fee when they have a week to return the movie.
America is considered the Land of the Free but we are just the
Land of the Lazy.
You don't exercise, so you sue. You don't return a movie until a
year later, so you sue. STOP suing just because you are lazy or
because you are pathetic (like the NJ clubber guy).
Want to be slothful? That is your prerogative (Like Bobby Brown &
Britney Spears say LOL),but don't hold others accountable for your
apathy.
Lord knows I am totally lazy with cleaning but I am not suing anyone
over it. If I had the time and energy and determination to sue over that,
I'd do the logical thing and use that energy to clean. LOL

Well, the Blockbuster thing needed a lawsuit. What they dont tell you is that if you are more than 6 days late, they charge you a $1.25 restocking fee. The "No More Late Fees" makes it sound like you can return it whenever you want. It's misleading. - Lori
Yes, I am not denying that it is misleading - I just mean isn't a week enough. If you are that lazy, then its like okay so you got penalized but you are apathetic.
But on legal grounds, yes I understand that it probably needed to occur :)
